“It's delightful when your imaginations come true, isn't it?” That is a quote from Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maude Montgomery and it is true of this amazing Summer Book Club! Can you just imagine how much fun we will have reading Anne of Green Gables and Little Women together this Summer? And, even if you are already fans of these two amazing classics, this summer online class is still perfect for you! We will cover the books through fun themes, literary elements, reader's theater, by watching clips of the movies and plays, and more....you won't be disappointed! We may even have a Victorian Summer Tea online together!
Study/Reading Guides will be provided but homework is not required.
Students who know the books/stories well will still get the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of these classics as well as help bridge the gap for Summer with Language Arts skills and more that will be included in the class.
The class will meet LIVE online about once a week (a schedule will be given of each LIVE online club/class meeting) and the students will be encouraged to read in between. Other books, poems, and excerpts will be included as well to make this an especially wonderful class for the imagination this Summer! There will be 8 Summer Club Meetings!
Club meetings/Classes are recorded for viewing at your convenience throughout the week if you are not able to attend LIVE. This makes the class perfect for your Summer schedule!
